The Utah Society for Histotechnology is a constituent state society of the National Society for Histotechnology. We are an independent non-profit organization. The purpose of the society is to:

• Provide an organized group to unite the histology technicians, technologists, research scientists and associated histology disciplines in the state of Utah and surrounding region.
• Promote an interchange of ideas and methods.
• Provide educational programs for professional growth and enrichment.
• Enhance the status of histology technicians, technologists, research scientists and associated histology disciplines by elevating our knowledge, performance and standards.
